2020 Results
Race Director Notes: The 2020 race was overshadowed by the global pandemic with careful consideration resulting in providing both a VIRTUAL run option as well as a socially distanced LIVE timed race option. The day was highlighted by trails, fully leaf blown and in great condition, but race day weather shifted significantly colder with 45 MPH gusts making it challenging for race check in as everything not taped down was blowing away, including the tent, bottles of hand sanitizer, and even the timing clock at one point. The race start included a small mini-blizzard, witnessing our first snow of the year. Due to high winds, many signs on course blew away and created some challenges for 4 mile runners, so minor course re-routing may have caused longer mileage for 4 mile runners. VIRTUAL runners reported related issues with navigation, but were able to enjoy the course and reported positive feedback.
The 2020 race consisted of both VIRTUAL and LIVE runners. VIRTUAL runners provided their finishing time with evidence of their run. LIVE runners were timed manually using a timing clock and capturing finishing time manually. Because this was not a chip timed race, results may be off slightly.
